The range of programmes chosen for the Cafe Zimmermann's 2019-2020 season allows us to continue producing great pieces of the Baroque repertoire: Oratorios, Passion…, but most of all it promotes an almost complete return to our roots 20 years ago. From programmes by cherished composers to very distinctive atmospheres reminiscent of Mr Zimmermann's Café in Leipzig it is all Café Zimmermann’s DNA. These duos by the ensemble founders Pablo Valetti and Céline Frisch in dialogue with cello player Petr Skalka, present since the very beginning will transport you at the heart of baroque Europe – a true return to Cafe Zimmermann’s roots.
