Café Zimmermann, famous for its spirited and contrasting renditions of Johann Sebastian Bach's music and founded in 1999 by the violinist Pablo Valetti and the harpsichordist Céline Frisch, will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2019!

This programme, composed specially for this occasion, will bring to the forefront the most beautiful concertante pieces of Johann Sebastian Bach's music. In it, Café Zimmermann performs two famous Brandenburg concertos as a wonderful synthesis of the period's musical forms. Suites and concertos honour numerous instruments emblematic of the period: the violin, the harpsichord, the oboe, the flute and the trumpet are the finishing touches to this programme, for an anniversary celebration reminding us of the leading works of the record repertoire of the ensemble!

  • A wonderful way to honour the works behind Café Zimmermann's reputation!
