Calendar
This project invites young adventurers to discover the musical treasures of the 17th century, a time of privateers and adventurers, but also of extraordinary musical inventions. A sea worthy of being sailed by today's little adventurers!
Margherita Pupulin, violin
Eduardo Egüez, theorbo
On the programme: simple explanations, entertaining stories and fun activities to make each piece accessible and exciting. All led by a baroque violin and theorbo duo.
Stops on this treasure map include the most beautiful and curious pages from all over Europe (and beyond!) from the 17th century: from H.I.F. von Biber's sonata representing all the animals, to the dances of Playford and Lully, via the famous melodies of Falconiero and Merula, to the more sophisticated music of these great explorers of harmony.
This concert is supported by SPEDIDAM.
