2025 in numbers

Published on 31 December 2025

A 2025 overview!

2025 was a particularly rich year for Café Zimmermann. With 33 concerts given in 22 different cities, the ensemble even crossed borders by performing in Spain, Switzerland and Belgium, where we were also able to record our album Vivaldi, Masques with Paul-Antoine Bénos-Djian, released in early 2026.

The year 2025 was also marked by proximity and sharing. Through 11 concerts in the Baroque en Balade, our regional format designed to meet audiences in local venues, we continued our commitment to spreading baroque music throughout our area of influence.

In partnership with our resident theatre, the Théâtre du Jeu de Paume, we carried out 6 interventions in 3 different schools as part of the Parcours Baroque programme. These activities gave primary school pupils the opportunity to discover early music through classroom sessions, enabling them to deepen their knowledge of the Baroque repertoire. This work culminated in the presentation of an educational concert.

We also offered three ‘Hors les murs’ concerts, organised outside the usual venues, with a clear objective: to reach audiences who are distant from culture and to bring music to places where it is not expected.

Sharing music, but also beautiful moments: 7 performances were given in the oncology department of the Archet Hospital in Nice. These musical interludes offer moments of respite for both patients and nursing staff.

In keeping with a partnership established several years ago with the Meyrargues media library, the ensemble also offered three outreach activities in 2025: meetings, instrument presentations and discussion sessions to introduce local residents to our musical world.

Finally, because none of this would be possible without them, 41 musicians and 4 singers contributed to bringing 12 different programmes to life throughout 2025.
